All My Children -- Greenlee inadvertently let slip that Ryan believes Zach is Alexander Cambias Jr., prompting Ethan to change his mind about Greenlee’s buyout offer. Zach accused Erica of being overly protective of Kendall. Opal, who already knew that Bobby lost his investment, sensed trouble for him and Anita when she read Anita’s tarot cards. Stuart refused to talk to Adam until Bess was returned to Babe. In Llanview, Babe missed seeing Kevin to tell him about Ace, but later confronted Paul, who threw her to the ground, only to be tackled by the just-arrived Jamie. Bianca told Tad she sometimes believes Miranda survived the crash. Jack was grateful when Erica took Lily under her wing. Wait to See: Zach reveals some crucial truths about himself.

Even Greenlee has no idea what the hell is wrong with her. Maybe she’s got a brain tumor. Maybe she’s pregnant. The bets are on!
Kendall and Ethan move a lot closer to closing their lovey-dovey deal.
Zachery ends his charade, rips his mask off to show who he really is.
JR bars Bianca from making any contact with Bess (who is really Bianca’s own daughter, Miranda).
Krystal enlists the assistance of Tad in her and David’s mission. Whether she comes forth with all of the reasons why, is another story.
Brooke holds a weapon on Adam, or will soon.
Maria reaffirms her love and devotion to her marriage with Edmund.
Maddie and Sam Grey have been officially SORAS’d (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome) with Paulina Gerzon and Shadoe Brandt, playing the characters as 12 and 14. (Last week, I erroneously guessed that Maddie would be 14 to Sam’s 12. My apologies for the bone-headed math.)
Elizabeth Hendrickson (Maggie) is a nice girl from the East Coast who blushes during love scenes and charms all her co-stars into protective mode. Prior to her Jonathan spark, about six months back, Hendrickson didn’t have such a great time of it on the set, because of the frustration in playing a confused, sexually ambiguous character, one frequently tempted with the possibility of ground-breaking lesbian love with Bianca, yet hanging in limbo with an indeterminate destiny. She admitted to frequently rushing off the stage in tears, or hiding away with her journal, crying, where also quite frequently, Cameron Mathison (Ryan) would find and comfort her. Mathison, Eden Riegel (Bianca), Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) and a host of other concerned co-stars would always try to be there for her. It must not have been easy watching other young actresses nab the frontburner stories, but now, things may have changed in her favor with the arrival of Jeff Branson’s Jonathan and their on-screen love affair. Hendrickson has a better perspective anyway, full of gratitude and no expectations.
Alicia Minshew (Kendall) has found real-life love with one of Thorsten Kaye’s (Zach) buddies, Richie Hersch, a handsome, cool, supportive bar owner. Kaye set them up around the time of the Daytime Emmys.
Terri Ivens (Simone) gave birth to her first daughter, October 9, 8:52 a.m. Kiana Elle was a healthy six pounds, eight ounces, 19 º” in length.
Michael B. Jordan (Reggie) cut his finger deeply during a game of hoops, requiring 50 stitches. He’d already cracked the rim of the finger before going for a dunk, which then spread the opening even wider and more painfully.
Aiden Turner (Aidan) and Christian Campbell (Bobby) may play rivals for Anita’s attention on TV, but they’re really pals IRL. Turner – who sits right across the hall from Campbell in the dressing rooms – is high on Campbell’s list. Nicknamed “The Jaw,” Turner’s got the looks and the personality, Campbell said, in mock-envy, “The guy’s just chiseled out of stone. You look at him and you don’t know whether to laugh or cry. [SOD, 10/19]” One of the first people Campbell will invite, when Campbell finally gets around to hosting that barbecue, will be Turner.
The popular chicks with caricatures for names are played by actresses Angela Zaires (Autumn), Kerisse Hutchinson (Chantal) and Jamie Lynn Evans (China). The only name missing is, Chablis.
Casting director Judy Blye Wilson earned top honors, the Artios Award, from the Casting Society of America.

Monday

Ethan changes his mind about accepting Greenlee's buyout offer after Greenlee inadvertently admits that Ryan believes Zach is Alexander Cambias, Jr. Meanwhile, Kendall explains to Ryan why she is helping Ethan. Ryan forgives Greenlee for what she said to Ethan but Jonathan remains incensed. Zach is angered by Erica's attitude towards Ethan. Zach accuses Erica being overly protective of Kendall and Bianca because her father didn't protect her. Ethan arrives to confront Zach. Maria is determined to stay committed to Edmund. While arguing with Opal, Palmer reveals to her, Edmund, Maria and Anita that Bobby's investment failed. Bobby covers the truth with another lie. Opal senses trouble ahead for Bobby and Anita when she reads Anita's tarot cards but keeps her feelings to herself.

Tuesday

Bianca is appalled when JR explains Babe signed over custody of Bess to him. JR refuses to allow Bianca to see Bess. Babe reveals the details of JR's blackmail to Bianca and later heads out to confront Paul Cramer. Adam threatens to send Jamie to prison unless Tad tells him where Colby is. Krystal convinces Tad to help her and David find the homeless man JR claims Babe and Jamie tried to hire to commit murder. David anticipates meeting the homeless man but encounters a gloating JR instead. Stuart refuses to talk to Adam until Babe is reunited with Bess. Ethan wants to give Zach the chance to admit that he is his father. Zach refuses to tell Ethan, Erica and Kendall if he is or isn't Alexander Cambias, Jr.

Wednesday

In Llanview, Babe encounters Kevin Buchanan, who leaves before Babe can tell him about the baby switch. Babe accuses Paul Cramer of stealing her baby. Paul warns Babe he will claim that Babe was complicit in the scheme if she reveals the truth. Babe attacks Paul, who throws her to the ground. Jamie arrives and begins to strangle Paul. Kendall refuses Bianca's request to try and intervene with JR on Babe's behalf. Kendall explains to Bianca that several people once believed that Bess was actually Miranda until Tad had a DNA test conducted. Bianca later goes to question Tad. Kendall offers JR her friendship. JR taunts David as he basks in getting his revenge. Jamie steals money from Adam's safe. Adam warns Jamie that Tad had better reveals Colby's whereabouts soon. Brooke and Tad fear for Jamie. Brooke sneaks into Adam's bedroom and pulls a gun on him.

Thursday

At the country chapel, Babe admits to Jamie that Bess is really Miranda and is surprised that Jamie had already figured out the truth about the babies. Jamie assures Babe he doesn't hate her and suggests they kidnap Ace (Babe's son) and run away. Adam hands a copy of the DVD incriminating Jamie over to Brooke but warns her that he has others. Brooke and Tad use the DVD to try and track down Rod, the man JR and Adam used to implicate Babe and Jamie in the phony murder plot. Bianca admits to Tad that she sometimes believed Miranda had survived the crash. JR flirts with Kendall. Zach avoids a confrontation with Ethan. Kendall gives Ethan a shoulder to lean on. Bianca urges Zach to be truthful with Ethan.

Friday

Zach and Ryan prepare to attend a meeting Zach has arranged at Ryan's penthouse. Meanwhile, Bianca, Kendall and Ethan are shocked when Greenlee answers her door naked. Greenlee continues to exhibit strange behavior. Greenlee tells Ethan that all she needs is Ryan, not the Cambias fortune. Bianca confronts Jonathan for stealing her shirt. Zach addresses the group and admits that he is Alexander Cambias, Jr. Jamie convinces Babe that the only way to guarantee that JR won't take Babe's son away from her is to make JR believe that the baby boy died. Jamie and Babe plan on going on the run with Ace. Krystal warns JR that he will lose Bess. Erica gently explains to Lily that wearing provocative clothes can send the wrong messages. Jack is grateful when Erica gets Lily to change into something more appropriate for school.
